Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data The Warmth Rehab collects when you contact us or use this website, why we process it, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and the rights you hold over it under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).

Last updated: 5 August 2026

The Warmth Rehab, operated by Ban Khun Morh Clinic (“we”, “us”), respects the privacy of everyone who contacts us or visits this website. This policy is written to meet the requirements of Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”).

1. What personal data means

Personal data means any information relating to a person that makes it possible to identify them, whether directly or indirectly. It does not include information about a deceased person.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the enquiry form on this website, we collect:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your telephone number
  • the service or programme you are enquiring about
  • the content of your message
  • the page of the website you submitted the form from

Information about your visit. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and request time, for security and to keep the site running.

We also measure how the website is used, so we can improve it:

  • Our own records. When you view a page, scroll, open a question or use the enquiry form, we record the action, the page, the approximate device type and country, a random session identifier, and where you arrived from. This is stored separately from enquiries and holds no names, phone numbers or message content.
  • Google Analytics. The same actions are also sent to Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser. Google processes this data as our service provider and may store it outside Thailand.

You can stop the Google Analytics part with any standard content blocker or Google’s own opt-out add-on, without affecting how the site works.

Please take care with health information

Information about health, medical conditions and substance use is sensitive personal data under the PDPA and requires your explicit consent before it can be processed. You do not need to include any clinical detail in the enquiry form. If you choose to describe your situation, you are giving us your explicit consent to process that information for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.

3. Why we process your data

We process personal data in order to:

  • respond to your enquiry and answer questions about treatment
  • assess, with you, whether our programmes are clinically appropriate
  • arrange admission, and communicate with you or a family member you nominate
  • meet our legal, medical-record and regulatory obligations as a licensed facility
  • keep the website secure and functioning

Our lawful bases are your consent (for enquiries and any health information you share), contractual necessity (arranging and delivering treatment), legal obligation (records we are required to keep as a registered medical facility), and legitimate interest (site security).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have asked us to.

4. Who your data is shared with

Your data is accessible to the admissions and clinical staff at The Warmth Rehab and Ban Khun Morh Clinic who need it in order to respond to you or provide care.

We also use the following service providers, who process data on our instructions only:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery
  • Supabase — secure storage of enquiry records and website usage data
  • Google (Google Analytics) — website usage measurement

We may disclose personal data where we are legally required to do so by a court, regulator or government authority. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

5. International transfers

Our service providers may store or process data on servers outside Thailand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the receiving party maintains a standard of protection consistent with the PDPA.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to admission are retained for up to two years, so we can respond if you contact us again, after which they are deleted.

Clinical and medical records created during treatment are kept for the period required by Thai medical-records regulations and professional obligations.

7. How we protect it

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, stored in access-controlled systems, and made available only to staff who need it for their role. All clinical staff are bound by professional duties of medical confidentiality in addition to this policy.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPA you have the right to:

  • access your personal data and request a copy
  • rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • erase your data, or ask us to anonymise it
  • restrict how we use it
  • object to our processing of it
  • data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable form
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
  • complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee if you believe your rights have been breached

Withdrawing consent may mean we are no longer able to respond to your enquiry or continue arranging your care.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children under 18. Where a person under 20 is being admitted for treatment, we obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian as required by Thai law.

10. Cookies

This site uses cookies necessary for it to function and remain secure, and Google Analytics cookies used to measure how the site is used. It does not set advertising or profiling cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or block Google Analytics specifically as described in section 2. Blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
